2. Running Interface

The running interface is the primary operation screen displayed during machine operation. It provides access to all parameter settings for the reeling and tying mechanisms.

2.1 Parameter Settings Overview

This interface provides parameter configuration for the machine's reeling and tying mechanisms.

•  Production Counter: Production counter only records the number of ties completed (not reeling operations).

•  Counter Reset: Press and hold the reset button to zero the production counter.

2.2 Tying Mechanism Parameters

The tying mechanism has two adjustable parameters:

Twist Count

Tap the parameter field to open the numeric keyboard. Enter the desired value and confirm.

Recommended setting: 3-5 turns. Higher values allow fine adjustment of tying tightness.

Tie Band Feed Length

Tap the parameter field to open the numeric keyboard. Enter the desired value and confirm.

WPM-212 models: adjustable range 75-140 mm

WPM-212C models: adjustable range 120-190 mm

Adjust the feed length according to the diameter of the bundle being tied.

2.3 Reeling Mechanism Parameters

The reeling mechanism has two adjustable parameters:

Reeling Turns

Tap the parameter field to open the numeric keyboard. Enter the desired value and confirm.

Reeling Speed

Tap the parameter field to open the numeric keyboard. Enter the desired value and confirm.

Adjustable range: 1-9 (from slow to fast). This value represents revolutions per second.

3. Manual / Jog Test Interface

The jog test interface allows operators to manually control individual motors. This function is primarily used for troubleshooting and verifying that each motor is functioning properly.

3.1 Jog Test Functions

The following manual controls are available:

•  Feed Motor (Tie Band Threading): Used for threading new tie bands. Jog control feeds tie wire forward for replacement.

•  Reeling Motor - Set Turns Mode: Press the foot pedal once; the reeling motor rotates the configured number of turns after one foot pedal press, then stops automatically.

•  Reeling Motor - Continuous Mode: Hold the foot pedal down; the reeling motor rotates continuously. Release the pedal to stop immediately.

3.2 Reeling Mode Switch

The reeling mode can be toggled between two operating modes:

•  Set Turns Mode: Press the foot pedal once; the reeling motor rotates for the set number of turns and stops automatically.

•  Continuous Mode: Hold the foot pedal down; the reeling motor rotates continuously. Release the pedal to stop immediately.

4. Maintenance & Lubrication

Regular maintenance ensures optimal machine performance and extends service life. Please follow the maintenance schedule below:

4.1 Maintenance Schedule

•  Daily: Clean scrap material under the tie band cutter blade. Remove all cut tie band remnants from the cutting area.

•  Monthly: Clean dust and debris from inside the machine cabinet. Use compressed air (air gun) for effective cleaning.

•  Bi-weekly (Every 2 Weeks): Inspect all screws on the right-side mechanical transmission assembly. Tighten each screw to ensure secure fastening.

•  Monthly (Lubrication): Apply grease to the two bearing positions of the adjustable cutting link rod and the guide rail slider. If the cutting blade sticks, apply anti-rust oil to the blade area.
